I believe the best sale is the one where everyone wins, and the right way to do things is the best way.  Integrity and
professionalism are as important to me as they are to my clients. Persistence and patience are my techniques, which
have resulted in over 20 years of success in sales. I understand my clients’ wants, needs, desires, and what’s most
important to them, then I translate that into reality. Technology and our company’s broad resources help to both sell
homes quickly and help buyers fulfil their dreams in an effective and easy manner.

ABOUT DOUG
I have lived in Kansas City all my life, and am a third generation Realtor. My grandfather built the Professional Building,
a historic landmark in downtown Kansas City; my father and his partners developed Corporate Woods Office Park in
Overland Park, and my mother was a residential real estate broker, who kept an active license until her death at the age
of 81. It must be in my blood!
I grew up South of the Plaza, and graduated from Southwest High School. After marrying my wife, our first home was in
Armour Hills, then our family moved just across State Line into Leawood, where we have lived ever since. So, I have
firsthand experience with both the Kansas and Missouri sides of the metropolitan area.

DOUG'S FAMILY
My family, which extends from in-laws to grandchildren, is very important to me, and has taught me some of life’s most
valuable lessons, like how precious is the time we spend with those we love. Time is just as important to my clients, so I
try to be extremely considerate of theirs; ask me about some great tools, like Showing Beacon and Agent Access, which
are great conveniences to buyers and sellers.
